Wow what an amazing article in September's issue of Case Management Magazine featuring our client Collette and her New Live Magix 2 powered wheelchair, read more on pages 28, 29 & 30! Monday Magic or should that be MAGIX? Today we had a delivery 📦 from New Live our manufacturers over in France 🇫🇷 This stunning Magix 2 with unique 6 wheel drive system is proving very popular with our clients! Powered functions include: seat lift, tilt in space, recline and leg length & elevation (including power to floor foot plate)! It is also fitted with USB charger port & dual actuator control panel by mo-vis, it also has a factory fitted V-Trak back rest! Congratulations to our friend & client, George Tappenden George Tappenden -fundraising & raising awareness for SMA, this year’s winner of the Positive Role Model Award for Disability at the National Diversity Awards ND AwardsThe team at Precision Rehab Limited are very proud of you and this incredible achievement!Well done, George! 🙌 #NDA24 keep up the amazing work you do 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼I WON !!!!!What a night. I am so grateful and honoured to have won the 'Role Model for Disability Award' at the @ndawards last night in Liverpool. Congratulations to ALL the nominees and those shortlisted. To those in my category I share the award with you all and I will make sure to do it justice. Thank you so much to do all the individuals, local businesses, friends, family and my school for supporting me throughout and a big shout out to my sister @evietappenden1, good friend @jackharris2737 and my SENCo @hawksstgregs aswell as my family for coming to the awards.Thank you to the @ndawards for a spectacular event and for making sure those that dedicate their time to make a positive change to the world get recognised to keep that passion inside them burning. Often money is a mirror of success but I believe it is the legacy of good you leave behind. Lovely to meet so many people I have been speaking to in the build up to last night especially @therealfredinwaka a true King. Big thanks to @paulsesay the founder of @ndawards and the team. Also thanks to all the staff last night, especially Krystal our waitress. I wasn't able to stay until midnight for group photos or the after party as I was too tired after the six hour journey - I managed until 11.30pm but then my body gave up. However I did still get loads of photos, videos and press that I have all to share with you over this week.For now I leave you with my acceptence speech "Thank you so much everyone. I am so grateful for this award.We are all here for the same reason and that's to bring about change. Whether that's through campaigning, helping, advocating or supporting others. It sometimes feels that the wall we need to break down is too big and it frustrates me that it cannot just be knocked down.
