Access to Work Grants - Government scheme
If you are in employment, looking to start a new job or you own a business and a new wheelchair will enable you to start or continue to do so then an Access to Work Grant may help to fund a wheelchair.

NHS Personal wheelchair budget (PWB)
A fund from the NHS to give you more choice in your wheelchair provision, based on your assessed clinical needs.
You can use it in three ways:
As a notional budget to receive the wheelchair prescribed by the NHS.
As a notional plus budget to upgrade or add features to an NHS wheelchair by contributing the difference yourself.
As a third-party budget to purchase a wheelchair from another supplier, often using your PWB plus additional funds.
