Precision Rehab was founded in 2015 by Matthew James and his wife Emma making it a true family business which treats every client as an extended member of the family. With almost 30 years’ experience in the design, sales, service, and assessment of specialist powerchairs this industry has been Matthew’s passion for many years.

The Precision Rehab ethos is to provide the highest level of customer service from the first enquiry through to the assessment, product handover and final training and adjustments.  This support continues long after the delivery with seating reviews, annual servicing, and product repairs.

Since founding Precision Rehab, Matthew has carefully managed the growth of the business and added to the product range to ensure it offers a choice of products to suit each client’s individual requirements which includes postural needs, product features, professional recommendation, and budget.  As part of this growth, Matthew has ensured that every manufacturer he chooses to work with shares his ethos about caring for the client.

Matthew and Emma have a son and daughter who they hope will one day join the family business. Matthew is a qualified FA coach and coaches the Chineham Tigers U9’s Football Team that his son plays for and as part of its support of the local community, Precision Rehab sponsors both the Chineham Tigers teams.  Matthew’s other passions (when time allows) include cooking, enjoying a round of golf and football.

Prior to establishing Precision Rehab, Emma was employed in a number of corporate finance roles all of which have armed her with the knowledge and expertise to help Matt position Precision Rehab as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of bespoke powerchair solutions.  Among Emma’s qualifications is an NVQ4 in accountancy with the AAT.

Emma and Matt have two children which keep them very busy.  “When I get some spare time, I enjoy playing badminton, DIY and growing fruit and vegetables on our allotment, I dream that once the children are a little older, I will to be able to continue developing my skill as a Divemaster scuba driver.”

Zoli has over 30 years’ experience of working with people with varying levels of disability and the technology which is available to help them live as independently as possible.  Much of this knowledge was gained during the 28 years he spent t Treloar specialist school and college for 28 years as a Rehabilitation Engineer and Assistive Technologist and during this time worked closely with the students and Therapists to find bespoke solutions for individual problems with independence and access to technology.

This involved assessing, designing, and delivering special technical solutions for driving powerchairs independently by alternative methods, accessing communication aids, computers, and environmental controls.  Zoli also set up integrated systems to allow the user to operate their communication aids, computers, mobile phones and environmental controls via their wheelchair driving systems.

Prior to joining Precision Rehab, Zoli worked for two years for Contour 886 special seating company as a Rehabilitation Engineer working on the client’s powerchairs, special controls and technology. Zoli has also run RE clinics for two NHS wheelchair services which involved working closely with therapists.

Since joining Precision Rehab Zoli has been responsible for the aftercare of client’s powerchairs and the day to day running of the service department.  Zoli’s knowledge and experience have been invaluable as it has enabled him to offer a bespoke service to every client.

Zoli is married to Julie and they have five grown up children between them and in his spare time enjoys travelling, visiting historic buildings, and caravanning both in the UK and Europe.
